Main railway station in Castellón de la Plana, opened in 2000 to replace the original station, whose first installation dates from 1864. The current building is located at kilometre point 69.2 of the Iberian gauge railway line connecting Valencia with San Vicente de Calders, at an altitude of 39.39 metres.

The station offers connections with Valencia and Barcelona, and is part of the Valencia Commuter Network through the C-6 line. In 2010 it recorded approximately 450,000 passengers, not including traffic generated by this commuter line.

The former station, built in 1888 with a classical and simple architectural style—brick and cast iron, characteristic of railway architecture of the era—was later converted into a police station and is preserved in the city centre as a testament to Castellón's industrial heritage.
