1. About this website

This website, accessible at indrets.es (the "Website"), is a non-commercial, personal cultural project dedicated to the cultural heritage, landmarks, and points of interest of the province of Castellón, Spain, and its surroundings.

The Website is operated by Andrei Panisko (the "Operator"), a natural person legally residing in Spain. The Website is a personal, non-profit project: it carries no advertising, no affiliate or referral links, no paid placements, and no commercial activity of any kind. No goods or services are offered or sold.

You can contact the Operator by email at: datarequest@indrets.es

By accessing or using the Website, you ("the User") accept these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not accept them, please do not use the Website.

2. Purpose of the Website

The Website publishes editorial content — articles, descriptions, photographs, and maps — about cultural and natural sites in the province of Castellón. Content is provided in several languages, including English, Spanish, Valencian, Russian, and Ukrainian.

The Website is not a travel agency, tour operator, booking platform, or commercial intermediary. It does not sell trips, accommodation, tickets, or transport, and is not affiliated with any official tourism authority.

3. Informational purpose only — no professional advice

Content is published in good faith for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including travel, safety, legal, or medical advice.

Travel conditions, opening hours, access rules, ticket prices, transport schedules, weather, and the status of cultural and natural sites change frequently and may differ from what is described on the Website. Before visiting any location, the User is responsible for independently verifying current information from official sources — local tourism offices, municipal authorities, site administrators, transport providers, and competent public bodies.

4. Accuracy of content

The Operator makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information is accurate and current, but makes no warranty — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of any content. The User uses the information at their own risk.

If you notice an error or outdated information, you are welcome to report it to datarequest@indrets.es.

5. Travel at your own risk

Visiting cultural sites, mountains, rural areas, archaeological monuments, and other locations described on the Website may involve risks, including but not limited to physical risk on hiking trails, exposure to weather, restricted access on private land, and risks associated with remote areas with limited mobile coverage or emergency services. The User assumes full responsibility for their own safety, preparation, equipment, insurance, and compliance with local rules and regulations.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for:

  • any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Website or reliance on its content;
  • decisions made by the User on the basis of information published on the Website, including travel decisions, route choices, and visits to specific sites;
  • accidents, injuries, losses, or other incidents occurring during travel inspired by or related to content on the Website;
  • the content, availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites linked from the Website;
  • temporary or permanent unavailability of the Website, technical errors, or data loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Spanish law or EU law, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

7. Intellectual property

All original content on the Website — including texts, photographs, illustrations, maps, and the overall design — is protected by copyright and related rights under Spanish law and international treaties. Unless otherwise indicated:

  • the copyright in original content belongs to the Operator or to the respective authors and contributors credited on the Website;
  • some content may be reproduced under licenses such as Creative Commons or public domain, in which case the applicable license is indicated next to the content;
  • some third-party content (photographs, quotations, references) is included under quotation rights or fair use for educational and informational purposes, with attribution to the source where possible.

You are welcome to read, share links to, and quote brief excerpts of content for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided that the source ("indrets.es") and the author are clearly credited. Any other use — including reproduction of substantial parts of texts or photographs, commercial use, or republication on other websites or in printed media — requires prior written permission from the Operator. If you believe that content on the Website infringes your rights, please contact datarequest@indrets.es.

8. External links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites operated by tourism authorities, museums, municipalities, transport providers, or other organisations. These links are provided for the User's convenience only. The Operator does not control these websites, does not endorse their content, and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, privacy practices, or terms of use.

9. Permitted use

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the Website. In particular, you must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its server, or any related systems;
  • attempt to interfere with the proper operation of the Website (including denial-of-service attempts, automated scraping at a scale that affects performance, or distribution of malware);
  • use the Website to transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

10. Changes to these Terms

The Operator may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the Website or in applicable law. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top. Continued use of the Website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes arising in connection with the Website or these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may grant Users additional rights in their country of residence within the European Union.
