Parque del Meridiano is a green space of 10,780 m² located in the heart of the Marjalería wetlands of Castellón de la Plana, approximately 5 km from the urban centre. Its most distinctive feature is its location at the precise point where the Prime Meridian (0° Greenwich) and the 40° parallel intersect, a unique geographical coincidence marked by a monolith installed by the National Geographic Institute.

The park is situated on Camino Donación, integrated into the wetland landscape of the Castellón marshes, an environment of wetlands of special ecological value that contrasts with the surrounding urban fabric. This natural singularity makes the space an example of coexistence between recreational infrastructure and a sensitive ecosystem.

Among its facilities are picnic areas, children's play zones and a seasonal swimming pool, making it a family destination for residents of the city's outlying neighbourhoods. Despite its interest, historically it has been an infrequently visited park and relatively unknown outside the municipality.

The Castelló de la Plana Town Council has promoted recovery and enhancement initiatives in recent years, with the aim of highlighting its geographical uniqueness and improving its facilities. The presence of the commemorative monolith makes it a point of reference for geography and cartography enthusiasts.

Access is via Camino Donación, in the Marjalería area, and requires good knowledge of the surroundings as signposting from the centre is limited. Its remote character gives it an unusual tranquillity for an urban park of this size.
