This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on the website indrets.es (the "Website"), what they do, and how you can control them. It complements the Privacy Policy and forms part of it.
This policy is written to comply with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), the GDPR, and the guidance published by the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) on the use of cookies.
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your language preferences or the fact that you have given consent to certain features — and to collect statistics about how the site is used.
In addition to cookies, similar technologies may be used (for example, local storage in your browser). For simplicity, in this policy the word "cookies" refers to all such technologies.
The Website is a non-commercial, informational project. It does not use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling, social media trackers, or remarketing technologies. The only cookies used are:
These cookies are needed for the Website to function and for your cookie preferences to be remembered. They do not require your consent under Article 22.2 LSSI-CE.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
Consent cookie (e.g. cookie_consent or equivalent) |
indrets.es | Stores your choice in the cookie banner (accepted / rejected / configured), so you are not asked again on every page | Up to 12 months |
(If your cookie banner solution uses a different cookie name — for example cookieyes-consent, complianz_consent_status, or borlabs-cookie — please replace the name in the table accordingly.)
These cookies are used to produce aggregated, statistical information about how visitors use the Website (which pages are read, in which languages, from which countries). They are loaded only after you give consent through the cookie banner.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguishes unique visitors by assigning a randomly generated pseudonymous identifier | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> |
Google (Google Analytics 4) | Maintains session state for the GA4 property | Up to 2 years |
IP addresses processed by Google Analytics 4 are anonymised, and the Operator does not combine analytics data with any other dataset to identify individual visitors.
Using these cookies involves transferring data to Google LLC in the United States. The transfer is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, as an additional safeguard, by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. More information is available in the Privacy Policy and in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
The Website does not use any advertising, marketing, social media, or profiling cookies.
The interactive maps on the Website are provided by MapTiler AG (Switzerland). According to MapTiler's documentation, the service does not set tracking cookies on visitors' devices through the map tiles themselves. However, when a map is displayed, your browser does send a technical request to MapTiler's servers, which inevitably transmits your IP address (kept by MapTiler for a maximum of 20 minutes, for security purposes only). This processing is described in detail in the Privacy Policy (Section 2.2) and is based on legitimate interest rather than on cookie consent, as no cookie or similar identifier is stored on your device by the map service.
When you visit the Website for the first time, a cookie banner is displayed. No analytics cookies are placed before you make a choice. You can:
Rejecting analytics cookies does not affect your ability to read the Website.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by:
After withdrawal, no further analytics data will be collected about your visits. Data already collected remains subject to the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy.
You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser. Most browsers let you see which cookies are stored, delete them individually or in bulk, and block cookies from specific websites or all websites. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Website from functioning correctly.
Instructions for the most common browsers:
You can also opt out of Google Analytics on all websites by installing Google's official browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and the right to withdraw consent regarding personal data processed through cookies, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD — https://www.aepd.es). These rights are described in detail in the Privacy Policy.
This Cookie Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the technologies used by the Website or in applicable law. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. We recommend that you review it periodically.
